October Board Meeting

Check out the minutes from our latest Flagstaff Disc Golf Club Board Meeting held this week.

We’re taking on a whole new world with this new board and we’re determined to get disc back on and safely so. We absolutely appreciate your patience.

The Minutes

The 2020 Treebash was an amazing turnout and a great weekend of disc! All of our participants played, stayed safe and had fun despite the adversity of our current times. FDGC is planning for a bigger, better, and less restricted Treebash in 2021.

We are also on a mission to bring the AM Worlds back to Flagstaff! In order for us to do that as a club we need to step up our game. Your Board is putting together plans for USDGC/USADGC qualifiers, new pop-up courses, as well as new sponsors and support to grow the sport of disc golf in Flagstaff, AZ.

Bag Tags are on their way! We’re have them ready to go and should have them ready to sell for our annual Tundra doubles tournament sometime in March 2021. Dates are still tentative, but we are planning for the second weekend in March with our first Bag Tag event on the 14th.

The Club battle with the Prescott Disc Golf Club was good times! We made a lot of new friends, created some new rivalries, and got a lot more disc in. So we’re going to do it again! Watch for announcements, but the plan is for April 2021. And thank you, thank you, thank you to the PDGC and all the crew from Prescott showing up and showing out for the Treebash.

We’ve eased up on you a little! Thank your Board Members Steven Carillo and Tyler Winston for diligently moving the baskets for a little easier layout at some of our main courses. Ft. Tuthill Disc Golf Course has been moved to a Medium difficulty layout, McPherson to Medium, and Thorpe to Medium as well. All aces should be dedicated to them respectively with a blood sacrifice and a $3.50 donation via Paypal. (jk)

We still have a lot of custom plastic to sell at great prices. Reach out to us on Facebook or here to have a look at what we have for Innova Discs in stock. Check out the Treebash gallery for some special guest appearances by the FDGC custom stamps.

Tuesday Leagues are starting back up very soon! We need you hucker! Flagstaff Disc Golf Royalty Bill Block has graced us with his assistance, but he needs some help. Come out and help the club get league back in play! Inquire within.

Game on!
