Committing to growing disc golf starts with the young players. We’re proud to back the PDGA’s Youth & Education program, which aligns perfectly with our mission.
We’ve seen impactful work from programs like EDGE and Uplay, providing vital resources to schools. The PDGA’s Scholastic Club Grant is also making a difference, supporting school clubs with funding for equipment and activities. This year alone, 29 schools received grants, enabling them to expand their disc golf programs.
We were inspired by stories like Will Long’s, who created a course and hosted a tournament, and Clarisa Bingham, who grew her club and organized field trips. The Scholastic Grant will continue in 2025, and we encourage interested schools to apply.
Additionally, the PDGA’s new Scholastic designation within the Competition Endowment Program allows events to raise funds for school programs, creating more opportunities for growth.
We’re excited to be part of this movement, bringing disc golf to more young people.
