Highlander Opens Early + Queens in the Pines Registration is LIVE!
Hey disc golf fam,
Quick update because things are moving fast here in Flagstaff! I’m stoked to announce that Highlander registration is now OPEN! Yep, you read that right. I bumped it up by 12 hours, so get over to Disc Golf Scene and snag your spot. Don’t forget that all-important code!
But wait, there’s more! In my previous email flurry, I somehow missed including the Queens in the Pines registration. My bad! So, to be crystal clear, that makes THREE awesome Flagstaff Disc Golf events currently open for registration on the Disc Golf Scene. Let’s get those sign-ups rolling!
At Birdogie Mission, we’re passionate about growing this incredible sport, especially for women and other underrepresented groups. On that note, the Flagstaff Disc Golf Club (BDGC) is doing something truly awesome. They want to cover the entry fees for two teams (that’s four women!) for the Queens in the Pines tournament. The only catch? These players should be new to disc golf or at least new to the Queens event. The Tournament Director will have the final say, but this is an amazing opportunity to introduce some new players to the fun! If you know anyone who might be interested, please email me directly with their info or any questions.
Speaking of awesome people, I want to take a moment to extend a massive THANK YOU to some incredible folks who have supported our mission: Stacey Briscoe, Josh Moore, and Joshua Johnson for their generous donations. And a big welcome and thank you to Randy Tso, Shay Harvey, and John Parker for joining the BDGC! I’ll be reaching out to you all individually with your pins, tags, and shirts. Your support means the world!
Make sure you’re following Birdogie on Disc Golf Scene and connecting with us on all the socials: Meta, Instagram, and Bluesky.
Have a fantastic weekend, get out there and throw some plastic, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Nick
P.S. Seriously, that BDGC discount on Highlander is pretty sweet. Just sayin’.
