A little update on the work weekend:

I think we can do work on both weekend days. Saturday we can start around 1pm after handicap league, or during for those who don't wish to play. Sunday we can start, say late morning.

I walked the course with Josh Devlin today and have decided it would be best to focus on just two new placements on holes #4 & #14. The other holes are going to need a considerable amount of work and planning so we can save that for another day.

A lot of work needs to go into tournament #9. It will be down the road that's adjacent to the normal #9 fairway, and will be thrown to the #9C placement. We have scoped out a long pad (par 4) for Group A, and a short pad (par 3) for group B. We are allowed to take out as many of the thorny weeds in that area, but no oaks. Bring your pruning shears, tree saws and gloves. This is going to be a great hole if we clean it up properly. I may even be able to talk the city into making a permanent hole!

Please reply here or on the yahoo group post if you plan on coming out and if you can bring some tools.

thanks,
Barley
